Thats right. Zelda. It’s been foreverrrrr since I actually did something with my make up. Really smoky, really green. The dude is playing Skyward Sword and it got me thinking back to my days as a youngin’ playing Ocarina of Time. So this is inspired by Link’s hometown.
Use whatever primer you have OR just use the green eye pencil. Take a dark, forest-y eye pencil and draw the basic shape of the look. Take the top just slightly above the crease. Fill in the eye lid and underneath. Use your ring finger to smudge the liner underneath.
Now take a shimmery, dark green shadow and pat it all over the lid (I used a flat ELF eye shadow brush for this. The shadow I had was only like, medium shimmery, so when I finished I added a lighter, crazier shadow on top in the center of the lid to create some dimension. After the shadow, take a fluffy blending brush and either a VERY light green or, like I used, a highlighter shade with some green shimmer. The one I used was a little yellow. Use that as your brow highlight and bring it down to blend out the line of that dark green. At this point you can alternate between the highlighter shade and the dark green shadow to blend it out to your liking.
Once your satisfied, take a matte black and, in the corner of your eye using a pencil brush, add some depth by shading in the outer V of your peeper. I began in the very outer corner, took it up about 1/3 of the way into my crease, and then back down, again about 1/3, along my lashline. I was satisfied with this for liner, but if you aren’t feel free to use some liquid liner. Add as much as that black as you like.
Line the waterline with a black pencil and set with the same black shadow. You can (I did) also take the pencil brush you used and the remainder of any black shadow on it and run that along the green underneath the eye.
Curl lashes and add mascara (I find your lashes are more agreeable to false lash application when coated with some mascara first). Add some falsies to top the look off.
I didn’t take photos but I just used my MAC Strobe Cream and some concealer on my face. You can do either a peachy blush or a reallllllly pink one (I did pink). I’d suggest a nude lip or just some chapstick with this one.
