Today I have the cuttttesssttt glitter topper for you guys to check out! Sephora by OPI’s Good Tidings We Bling ($9.50 Sephora) is made up of green and red micro and small hex glitters, suspended in a clear base. This is a LE holiday polish and is already sold out online, but it IS on sale (I think down to $7) at Sephora stores.

This little guy comes packaged in an adorable box with a loop that can be hung on a tree like an ornament. I LOVED how this was packaged, I can just imagine how adorable it would have been to wake up with this hanging on Christmas morning.

The micro glitter in this is more dense than the hexes, and it takes about 4-6 coats to build up to opacity. I don’t particularly like how this one looks as is, I think it was just meant to be layered over white. Over white it is such an adorable, Christmasy shade. The formula was thinner than average for OPI polishes. I have just started to get into Sephora by OPI so I don’t know if the consistency for this is common across the board or just for this shade. This felt comparable to China Glaze polishes as far as application. I would have liked this a bit more if the micro glitter wasn’t as dense, the difference between it and the hex glitter bugs me for some reason.

I wore this alone for 3 days before I noticed peeling.

If you are a sucker for the holidays, I think you should try and snag this little guy on sale while you can! This is the first polish that I bought that just screams Christmas, perfect for those weeks leading up to Christmas where you want a festive manicure but don’t have time for some nail art!

About Valerie Vanity

I am a freelance makeup artist and a stay at home mom, I LOOVVVVEEE all things beautiful and sparkly. There are very few looks that I wouldn’t try to pull off, and I just love playing with makeup. I was inspired to start this blog when I found that I couldn’t really find very many beauty bloggers out there that are willing to speak in layman’s terms (took me forever to get the hang of “warm grey with a subtle blue shift”. The funny thing is, now I talk like that! But I do my best to describe techniques and products in way that doesn’t confuse or intimidate.
